ok, so last summer i got lice, and it was a nightmare. i'm already naturally anxious, but throw in lice and i'm crazy. i found out and my parents treated me with the shampoo . i also found my best friend got it from me, but we both ended up fixing the problem , and we thought we were both cured and all was well. but then i started getting these small itchy bumps on my head. i ignored it, but throughout the entire year i've been worrying and i've also gotten these little itchy scabs on my head that won't go away. i've tried dandruff shampoos but they wont work. now its this summer, and i still have the problem. i don't know what it is...lice, bad dandruff...but i've told my mom and she told my to ignore it. my head is so itchy and i don't know what to do.

I've dry scalp! Does that mean, I've dandruff? or how to differentiate? whats the remedy to cure dry scalp pl?

Will this product cure waxy dandruff? If so, which kind will help get rid of waxy dandruff? There is Selsun Blue Moisturizing with aloe, Selsun Blue Daily, Selsun Blue 2-in-1, and Selsun Blue Medicated with methanol. Also, after using this product did you lose your hair? Thanks in advance!

I used to use Head & Shoulders which worked like a charm, but I've gotten a hair treatment done that requires me to only use this one type of shampoo+conditioner.

nows adays when i comb my hair (i recently started combing becos my friends said i had dandruff on my head) i begin to see very small dandruff on the comb and on the hair. i am a thirteen year old and my hair is around 6cm long to 8cm. and one more thing , my hair was also found on the comb and whenever i comb, i see hair stucked on it and small dandruff. so what i wanna ask is,
1. can head and shoulders cure the small dandruff(its not like the big ones its small)
2.does msg from cup noodles cause hair loss and hair dropping?(recently i ate alot of cup noodles)
3.average, how many strains of hair does a 13 year old boy hair drop?
4.will shorter hair solve the problem?
5.will fingernails with black dirty stain when scratch the hair cause dandruff(i am in scouts so my hand is always stained with mud)
6.do i need to use man's shampoo or the head and shoulders one?(my mom said head and shoulders was good so i used it)

Im only 14 and my dermatologist said i have scalp eczema but also mentioned something about dermatitis so im not exactly sure, but i have a supppperrrrr DRY scalp and a lot of flaking and if I dont use the prescribed topical steroid gel, sometimes ill get red spots. I want to get a second opinion because i really dont want to use steroids =/ but im going on vacation soon so ill have to wait. ive had this problem for almost half a year now. ive tried head and shoulders, and using a fine toothed comb i tried shampooing everyday and every other day. which is better? i havent tried selsun blue yet but i might but im pretty sure its similar to head and shoulders and i want to try the over night olive oil trick and the vinager thing. do u know anything that might help with the spots or even just get rid of some of the dandruff?! its not just a problem with dandruff so head n shoulders doesnt work! anything uve tried that works?!

Hey guys, I've had dandruff for over 3 years now, and it's very irriating, when i scratch my head, there are literally 100s of flakes on the ground. I've tried heaps of methods to cure it, but it doesn't seem to have much effect. I went to the doctors and she just said use nitrozel or w/e it was. It didnt help at all... someone help
