Whilst it's getting winter in Australia, Your dandruff will increase, my friend had the same problem, its a problem she has had from birth, we did some reaserch last winter.

We tried some dandruff shampoos. Some even made the dandruff worse! I had always heard you can use mayonnaise, but thought dandruff shampoos is much easier and better smelling :-) Finally I tried the mayonnaise and it worked!!
You wet the hair and towel dry it.
Then totally cover the scalp with mayonnaise. Massage it very well in every inch of your scalp. Not with your nails, do it with finger tips. Cover it with a plastic shopping bag and leave it for an hour or hour and a half. Then rinse it off, and wash your hair. You may want to shampoo twice and again, trying to take all that mayo smell out of your scalp.
It works great! Plus it's cheap!

Also, we found out that white vinegar also helps :)

Hope any of this works,
Cheers and goodluck! :)
